As I germinate seeds

| Kamis, 31 Maret 2011

The growing season, getting closer and spring is almost a year. As the winter is coming to an end and the days are starting to get more time my mind is changing to what I'm going to grow this year. As tomato prices will go up that I know I'll grow a variety of tomato. This year I want to intensify my garden with enough produce to can tomatoes and sauces for cooking. We use all the time tomatoes in our cuisine and for the cost of the seed is cheap and is getting close to time to start its mounting tomato.

On average it takes 90 days time the flowers of tomato plants until it will produce fruit. So time is crucial to maintain large tomato plants that will begin to produce at the beginning of the season. Imagine how your friends will envy you as your tomato plants have berries beginning to the end of June. It can be done because a friend of mine is not every year and he rubs it. In recent years I would buy a plan for a couple dollars and planting it. In August I was getting some tomato and before I knew that the season ended and I was disappointed again as I harvested. This year will be different.

So I'm starting my purchases of seed. Home Depot is right in line for and put out the stock as I'm writing this. You heard the news about the Home Depot opening its first section Hydroponic in California? I'm sure we'll see one in Michigan before long. I aeroponics, like me and like the ease of it. Aeroponics is what will make this time different for me. But back to how I get my seeds.

A while ago I had the pleasure of knowing an experienced farmer who told me to take my seeds and they float on water. He then told me that the first seeds that fall to the bottom are more fertile and will germinate faster. He also said that these are the plants that will produce a nice healthy plant. Something to experiment with and through the years that I've found that those who fall to the bottom first grew very well. Something to try for yourself.

Then take these seeds and get a small Tupperware container. I then paper towel, and bend it to fit the bottom of the container. I then put distilled water immersion on the paper towel. I then drain any excess water leaving a damp paper towel and moist but not water logged. I Fold back a section of paper towel and place my seed in blanket and cover them. Seal the container and arrotá it.

The temperature is crucial to rapid germination. I like to use electronic devices that are all the time to put my container. I have used my modem or a video recorder that generate enough heat to keep the seeds at germinating. To ensure that the heat remains consistent, place a towel on the container or wrap it putting it right at the top of their heat source. A satellite puts out the right temperature too. After about three days, must have their seeds germinated and are ready for the next stage, placing it in a way to grow.

This year I'll use my bucket clone to see how a seedling will react to my aeroponics Setup. Should be interesting. Now I'm using aeroponics for my interior garden just started. So far the growth in my favorite plants was awesome and I can't wait to start a sapling of tomato.
